Experience
Andrew has qualifications in engineering and law, with a degree in Electronic Engineering, periods working in engineering in the space and automotive industries and also commercial experience in software coding. Andrew has experience, amongst other things, in web, wireless, network, AI, Fintech and encryption technologies. He also has in-depth experience in all aspects of automotive engineering, from mechanical, including powertrain and drivetrain, through to control systems, including EV and BMS technology. As an engineer and lawyer, he has been running businesses and has worked with global R&D and manufacturing businesses in electronics, telecoms, fintech, software and complex mechanical systems for over 40 years.
Andrew has served on boards and in partnership roles across the legal, education and voluntary sectors, including as Chair, Managing Partner, and Managing Director. He has also worked directly in the automotive industry and is familiar with the relationships and constraints of the motor trade from all sides.
Andrew is qualified to mediate civil and commercial disputes and is able very quickly to understand most technology, contractual and financial issues. He is experienced in both facilitative and transformative mediation techniques. Andrew does not offer family mediation, e.g. for divorce settlements.

Classic Vehicles & Motor Trade
Early in his career, Andrew worked as an engineer for a major UK car manufacturer and, in addition to his pure engineering role, mediated between the manufacturer, dealerships and customers on warranty matters to help resolve persistent faults and arrange suitable repairs. Subsequently, as a lawyer, Andrew has been heavily involved in IP matters in the global automotive sector. Since the 1980’s, he has been engaged with classic cars as an owner, restorer and motorsport competitor.
He is familiar with the relationships and constraints of the motor trade from all sides.
